In the event of a hurricane in South Carolina, communication may be difficult.

To make the process a little bit easier, we have provided a list of important numbers for emergency situations.

Florence County EMD: 843-665-7255

Georgetown County EMD 24-hour Hotline: 843-545-3273, available 24 hours a day when the Georgetown County Emergency Operations Center is activated.

Robeson County EMS: 910-671-3151 or 910-671-3153

American Red Cross of Eastern S.C.: 843-477-0020 (Myrtle Beach) and 843-662-8121 (Florence)

SCDOT Disaster Line: 888-877-9151, available only when activated. Operators will be able to provide information about traffic and road conditions. Spanish interpreters will be available once it is active.

Re-entry Information: 866-246-0133, available only when activated. Operators will provide information on evacuations, shelters, damage assessments, and re-entry.
