Rivers Receding, Some Still in Flood Stage
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 2 - 5:00 P.M. UPDATE:GEORGETOWN COUNTY - In Georgetown County, the rivers have started to slowly fall. Keep in mind that waters here will recede very slowly over the next week or two.
HORRY COUNTY - The Waccamaw River and the Intracoastal Waterway in Horry County are very slowly falling. It will likely take up to two weeks for the water levels to return to normal.
INLAND RIVERS - The following rivers are still in flood stage but continue to slowly fall.
