Flash Flood Watch remains in place for the area through Tuesday morning
A Flash Flood Watch is up for the entire area through Tuesday morning at 11am. While widespread heavy rain is not expected, any downpours, especially over Horry and Georgetown counties, could cause minor flooding.
Alberto came ashore around 5pm just west of Panama City, FL. The official forecast track will keep a weakening Alberto well west of us over the coming days, but we're not done with the rain.
Tropical moisture east of Alberto is being dragged northward into the Carolinas and will stick around through Thursday. After that, the air dries out and rain chances will go down. With more sunshine, expect it to get hotter with highs in the low 90s inland.
Rain over the next three days will not be widespread, but any showers that develop will produce very heavy rainfall. Have a plan B to be safe!
