Christmas Day: Dry & Cold
A strong cold front will head toward the Carolinas this weekend.
Ahead of it, expect dry, windy and warm conditions Saturday with high temperatures climbing into the 70s.
On Christmas Eve, the cold front will move slowly through the areas with a good chance of showers. It's still mild with high temperatures in the 60s, but they may fall in the afternoon.
The front will move off the coast Christmas Eve night so the rain ends and colder air moves in.
Christmas Day looks dry and quite chilly with high temperatures in the upper 40s to around 50.
The dry and cool weather sticks around through the middle of next week.
In case you're wondering, the chances of a white Christmas are still zero point zero!
