80s in sight
A big-time warming trend is underway.
Highs will reach the low 80s Thursday afternoon ahead of the next weather maker on track to bring showers Friday.
However, we'll dry out and remain warm for the Easter holiday weekend.
After a February for the record books with several days reaching 80 degrees, temperatures fell short for the month of March.
According to climate data, Florence reach 80 degrees seven times in February and only once in Myrtle Beach. The unseasonably warm weather carried over into March. Day one opened with a max temperature of 80º in Florence, but it’s been an uphill climb since with more than 20 days in the 50s and 60s.
With April just around the corner, get ready for a steady supply of warm weather with more 80-degree days and it’s highly likely we won’t have any more frost.
