Breakfast is important, so experts say to check the nutrition lables


Breakfast has long been called the most important meal of the day, but the American Academy of Pediatrics says lots of young people, about 12 percent, don't eat it. And even more teenagers take a pass.

Jess Buschmann, a clinical dietitian, said "Breakfast is crucial especially for students because it gets their brains charged up and ready to learn in the morning and also gets them energy to fuel throughout their day."

She says when looking for breakfast choices, look out for sugar-- especially added sugar.
