Sydney Madison

Sydney Madison joined WPDE July 2020-- just two months after graduating from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She is thrilled to be the Good Morning Carolinas Meteorologist!

Sydney is originally from the Chicagoland area in Illinois and says her favorite times of year are autumn and winter. Despite going to college in the desert and now moving to the coast, she admires the colors of fall and loves snow.

She is fueled by the writings of the late, Dr. Seuss. Admitting that although his books may be geared toward children-- his messages are so much more powerful. Those are what has driven her to be a highly right-brained individual who will relentlessly reiterate," Why fit in when you were born to stand out!"

When she isn’t in the studio you can find her really putting her right-brain to use painting, cooking, baking and practicing yoga.
