Joel Vazquez-Juarbe

Joel Vazquez joined the ABC15 news team as a multimedia journalist in May 2022.

Just a week before moving to Myrtle Beach, he graduated from Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J., with a degree in Journalism.

While he is a Jersey boy at heart; he is from Somers Point, NJ, he is thrilled to learn more about the Grand Strand and the people that live here.

When he is not reporting, Joel loves to try new places to eat, watch Marvel movies and brag about his dog back at home, Tinkerbell.

He also loves going to the beach and finding new cities to adventure in.
