Jenna Warner

Meteorologist

Jenna Warner joined ABC15 in June 2023 and is ecstatic to provide the weekend weather forecast during the evening broadcast.

Growing up in Columbus, Ohio, Jenna hails from a deeply scarlet and gray family. She broke the family tradition and headed to the University of Oklahoma for college to pursue an understanding of severe weather. While at OU, Jenna served as President of the School of Meteorology’s Oklahoma Weather Lab, housed in the National Weather Center, as well as broadcasting at OU Nightly in the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sustainability in 2021 and began the graduate program that same year. Her thesis centered on water management in Oklahoma and Texas, and she taught Introduction to Geography Lab. She graduated with an M.S. in May of 2023.

Jenna knew that she had a passion for weather from a young age. There was hardly a time when she was not glued to The Weather Channel’s “Storm Stories” series as a toddler. When asked in preschool what she would be when she grew up, her answer was always to be a TV meteorologist. This answer never wavered, and she is living out her lifelong dream in Myrtle Beach.

In her free time, Jenna enjoys baking and cooking, country music, cryptozoology, playing with Finnegan, her imperial shih tzu, and watching the Sooners and the Buckeyes dominate college football.

You can catch Jenna on the weather wall on WPDE’s weekend evening newscasts!
