Bill received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. While at MSU, he got his start in the television business. His first job in TV was running tapes back to the local cable station, WELM, for tape delayed broadcasts of Michigan State Spartan Hockey. By the time he graduated, he was a freelance producer and cameraman with a wide variety of experience in live and studio production. Bill and WELM received a Cable Ace Award for "Spartan Hockey 91" in live sports production.

After a brief stint of freelancing in Chicago, Bill relocated to Myrtle Beach, SC. In August of 1996, he accepted a position as News Photographer for WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach. A year later Bill went back to freelancing, and in 1997 he launched his own full service, broadcast production company. His first major assignment was as an audio tech for NBC News for a deadly tornado outbreak in Birmingham, Alabama. Bill's credits include ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, Fox News, the Weather Channel, Golf Channel, ESPN, Bloomberg, AP, BBC, France 24, Italian TV, Forensic Files, SONY, Citibank, and many more. He is an accomplished Producer, Photographer, Audio Tech, and writer.

In the fall of 2015, Bill returned to WPDE ABC 15 News in Conway, SC. In February of 2016, he was promoted to Chief Photographer.

Bill is excited to be back at WPDE and looking forward to helping to take their on air presence to the next level. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, playing golf and fishing.
