COLUMBIA, S.C - Former All-Zoner and current South Carolina wideout Bryan Edwards will return to the Gamecocks for his senior season.
After weeks of speculation - and the announcements of both Donell Stanley and Jake Bentley deciding to return - Edwards announced Tuesday via Twitter his 2019 plans.
This is a huge return for the Gamecocks who will now only have to replace star receiver Deebo Samuel.
Edwards caught 55 passes for 846 yards and seven touchdowns. That puts him in position to reach records in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns in 2019.
South Carolina will open their season in Charlotte, August 31 against North Carolina.
