NFL Week 9: Stats of players with ties to Pee Dee & Grand Strand

Several NFL players, who competed either in high school or college football in the ABC 15 viewing area, made an impact on Week 9./MGN

Former Carvers Bay High star Clayton Geathers led the Indianapolis Colts defense with eight tackles, and one pass defended, in a 31-26 win over the Green Bay Packers.

The Carolina Panthers beat the Los Angeles Rams 13-10. Former Coastal Carolina star Mike Tolbert had two carries for one yard for the Panthers.

Justin Durant had two tackles, including one sack for the Dallas Cowboys, in a 35-10 win over the Cleveland Browns. Durant played high school football in Florence at Wilson High.

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons tied for the team lead in tackles with nine, in a 21-14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Timmons played high school football at Wilson High.

On Thursday night, Ex-Marlboro County High star Robert Ayers had two tackles for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a 43-28 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
