NFL Week 7: Grand Strand & Pee Dee player stats

The following are statistics of NFL players with ties to the Pee Dee and Grand Strand areas of South Carolina:

Former Carvers Bay High star Clayton Geathers had five tackles and one pass defended for the Indianapolis Colts in a 34-26 win over the Tennessee Titans.

Lawrence Timmons, who played high school football at Wilson High in Florence, led the Pittsburgh Steelers with 11 tackles in a 27-16 loss against the New England Patriots.

Josh Norman, a Coastal Carolina graduate, had one tackle for the Washington Redskins in a 20-17 loss to the Detroit Lions. Norman left the game in the third quarter with a concussion.

Another former CCU star, Lorenzo Taliaferro, had three catches for 10 yards, and one carry for zero yards for the Baltimore Ravens, in a 24-16 loss to the New York Jets. Ex-West Florence High star Brandon Bostick played tight end for the Jets but did not accumulate any stats.

North Myrtle Beach High graduate Ryan Quigley punted six times for an average of 38.2 yards for the Arizona Cardinals against the Seattle Seahawks in a game that ended in a 6-6 tie in overtime. Quigley had three punts land inside the 20 yard line. He had a long punt of 53 yards. Seattle blocked one of Quigley's punts. In the same game, Hartsville native Tony McDaniel had three tackles for the Seahawks.
