The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Chicago Bears 36-10. Bucs defensive end Robert Ayers had six tackles, including 1.5 sacks. Ayers played high school football at Marlboro County and was an ABC 15 All-Zone selection.

Two former Wilson High stars played on opposite teams in the Dallas Cowboys 35-30 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Dallas linebacker Justin Durant made two solo tackles, and Pittsburgh linebacker Lawrence Timmons had six stops.

Ex-Coastal Carolina defensive back Josh Norman had three tackles for the Washington Redskins in a 26-20 win over the Minnesota Vikings.

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Carolina Panthers 20-17. Mike Tolbert out of Coastal Carolina had one carry for zero yards for the Panthers.

Former North Myrtle Beach High standout Ryan Quigley of the Arizona Cardinals punted four times for an average of 44.3 yards in a 23-20 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Quigley had a long punt of 50 yards.

Hartsville native Tony McDaniel had six tackles for the Seattle Seahawks against the New England Patriots. Seattle beat New England 31-24.
