The Marion Swamp Foxes are entering their second season under head coach Quin McCollum.

Marion has only two starters returning on both sides of the ball.

Junior wide receiver Bobby Bethea is expected to be a difference maker. He will also play defensive back.

Khalen Moody is another two-way player. He will play both running back and linebacker.

Tysheen Felton returns to provide both speed and power in the backfield for the maroon and gold.

Linebacker Christian James is the captain on a Swamp Foxes defense that should be an overall strength this fall.

Marion finished 2016 with a 4-7 record.

Marion will open the season on the road against the Aynor Blue Jackets on Friday, August 18.
