Bamba leads Coastal Carolina past Arkansas Little Rock

Coastal Carolina sophomore forward Amidou Bamba scored 18 points to lead the Chanticleers to a 72-62 victory over Arkansas at Little Rock at the HTC Center in Conway.

Bamba hit 8-of-10 shots from the field to help CCU to their third straight Sun Belt Conference win.

CCU dominated the boards and shot 50 percent from the field to pull away after being tied 35-35 at halftime.

Jaylen Shaw added 13 points, and Ajay Sanders had 11 for the Chants.

Coastal Carolina improved to an overall record of 10-13, 4-6 in the Sun Belt Conference.
