Ten area players named to USA Today All-State team

Zoneman finalist Xavier Legette earns USA Today All-State first team honors
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Ten players from the Grand Strand and Pee Dee area earned All-USA South Carolina team honors from USA Today, which were announced on Thursday.
Earning first-team offense honors was West Florence's Ailym Ford and South Carolina commit Xavier Legette from Mullins.
Conway's Tonka Hemingway and Hartville's Demonte Capehart receiving first team defense honors.
Getting second team nods were Evan Jumper (OL, Myrtle beach) Shamar McCollum (DL, Dillon) Xavier McIver (DL, Cheraw) Darius "JUJU" Williams (DL, Hemingway) Deonte Stanley (DB, Latta) and Janaz Sumpter (DB, Carvers Bay)
