Whip Up Your Weekend: Sparkling Lemon Berry Sorbet, (Sydney Glenn/WPDE)

You can cool off this summer with a simple sparkling berry sorbet.


  • 1 1/2 cups frozen local blueberries
  • 3/4 cup lemon sparkling water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 TB local honey


  • Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor; process until smooth.
  • Place berry mixture in a freezer-safe container and freeze until hard, about 1 hour.
  • Let stand about 10 minutes before
  • You can also pour this into a Freezy Pop Tray and place a stick in it for an after school snack
