Easy Low Carb Pocket Sandwiches

Easy Low Carb Pocket Sandwiches made by Chef Geoff Blount.


1 sheet of Whole wheat Lavash Bread

1 tsp cornstarch

½ tsp water

1 Tb cooked Rice

1 Tb cooked ground beef (Seasoned)

1 Tb shredded Cheese

2 Tb salsa


1- Cut the lavash bread specific to the size of your sandwich press. Mix corn starch and water and light brush onto both sides of bread. In a separate bowl, mix the remaining ingredients to make the filling. Place the mixed filling on lavash bread and place the top bread on and press the two around the filling to seal the pocket.

2- Place in sandwich press and griddle for 4 minutes until crispy. Allow to cool for a moment then top with salsa and more cheese if desired.
