SCHUYLKILL CO, (WOLF) — A man out on bail awaiting trial for having sexual intercourse with a dog is now facing additional charges after police say he paralyzed a kitten by shooting it with a BB gun multiple times.
On June 23rd, police responded to a home in Minersville for a report that a man, later identified as 28-year-old Andrew Lengle, of Frackville, was having sex with a family dog.
The dog's owner told police that she asked Lengle to come to her home and watch their baby. While gone, police say she caught him having sex with her dog via a nanny camera.
When police questioned Lengle, he stated "I don't know what I was doing."
For this instance, Lengle was charged with cruelty to animals and sexual intercourse with an animal. He was released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
While out on bail, Lengle allegedly shot a kitten inside a barn multiple times with a BB gun.
According to Skook News, West Penn Township Police were contacted by a Township resident on July 20th regarding an injured kitten.
A veterinarian told police the kitten had multiple BBs inside of its spine, rendering it paralyzed.
The kitten's owner reported that Lengle was working in their barn earlier that day and his BB gun was found inside after he left.
On November 15th, Lengle was yet again charged with cruelty to animals.
He is set to appear in court on December 20th for the second set of charges, and again on January 4th for the first set.
