NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — Thousands of Santee Cooper Customers were without power Wednesday morning.

According to crews, the cause of the outage affected 1,663 people.

The outage was reported around 7:45 a.m. and was fixed by 8:30 a.m.
