Megan Ann Oxendine, 28, has been identified as the woman whose badly decomposed body was found this past Saturday near abandoned home in Lumberton, according to Captain Terry Parker with Lumberton police.

The North Carolina Medical Examiner’s Office in Raleigh identified the body, but Parker said Oxendine's cause of death has not been determined.

He added they're still not sure when she died.

She is the third woman found dead in Central Lumberton near the downtown district since April 18.
