HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Sen. Lindsey Graham is calling out the Biden administration's claims that "everything is in shambles" as the newly-sworn in President starts his first full day on the job.

Graham tweet out an article from CNN that quoted sources saying Biden was "inheriting a nonexistent coronavirus vaccine distribution plan and must start 'from scratch.'"

In his tweet, Graham said "The Biden Administration is following the Obama playbook to the letter -- Blame Your Predecessor claim everything is in shambles and we will be lucky to move forward at all!"

He continued by tweeting, "the truth is the vaccine was produced in a historic timeframe, and while the distribution system can be improved, the vaccine itself remains key. The Biden Administration is inheriting a weakened Iran and historic alliances between Israel and Arab nations. The Biden Administration is inheriting a secure border with historic cooperation with Mexico and the Triangle countries. Time will tell if they will crumble the solid foundations they inherited from the Trump Administration on a number of fronts."

According to CNN, "The Biden administration has promised to try to turn the Covid-19 pandemic around and drastically speed up the pace of vaccinating Americans against the virus. But in the immediate hours following Biden being sworn into office on Wednesday, sources with direct knowledge of the new administration's Covid-related work told CNN one of the biggest shocks that the Biden team had to digest during the transition period was what they saw as a complete lack of a vaccine distribution strategy under former President Donald Trump, even weeks after multiple vaccines were approved for use in the United States."
