Report: Man causes $4,000 worth of damage to Myrtle Beach strip club
Myrtle Beach, S.C. (WPDE) —
A man was arrested early Monday morning for reportedly causing at least $4,000 worth of damage to the Treasure Club, according to a police report.
A Myrtle Beach officer was called to 716 Seaboard Street on Feb. 5 for a destruction of property call, the report stated.
A witness told police that a man was seen in the strip club bathroom "kicking down the top of the toilet."
The report says the top of the toilet was kicked off the bowl, which caused "massive flooding in the establishment."
The water damaged the carpet in the main lobby and the manager told officers it would cost about $4,000 to replace everything.
The suspect reportedly ran from the scene and was found behind a storage facility off of Frontage Road.
Pedro Alberto Bernar-Santiago, 20, was charged with malicious injury to personal property, $2,000 to $10,000.
