Less than a week after an attempted armed robbery, Surfside Beach Pharmacy owner Daniel Bundrick is releasing surveillance video from the incident in hopes of finding the people responsible.

The incident took place on Nov. 6 just before 6 p.m. Two suspects ran into the pharmacy, threatened the pharmacy owner with a gun, and then ran away when Bundrick pulled his own gun in response.

Now, Bundrick wants the people responsible for the incident to be found and held accountable.

"As time went on, we figured we should get it out there so the public in general could see it and spot something," said Bundrick.

Bundrick said he thinks the video shows off mannerisms and movements that could help people identify the intruders. He installed security cameras as soon as he opened the pharmacy in 2016.

"I knew I needed to have that. I beefed it up when I bought the place. There was not as good as cameras as we have now, so we've added a lot more security cameras and audio recordings and things like that--you just have to do that these days," said Bundrick.

Other business owners in Surfside Beach and customers at the pharmacy have been inspired by Bundrick's security plan.

"A lot of people told me , you know, they're going to get their concealed weapons permit. I've also talked to a lot of business owners near here and they're going to change a lot of their things, the way they're thinking also--more lights, more fences, things like that," said Bundrick.

If you recognize the suspects in the surveillance video, you are asked to call the Surfside Beach Police Department at 843-913-6368.
