One killed in golf cart verses tractor trailer wreck

South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly golf cart wreck in Florence County Monday.

Crews were called to the scene on Stagecoach Road around 4:45 p.m.

Highway Patrol says the golf cart driver turned left in front of the tractor trailer. The truck slammed into the golf cart and killed the driver.

The truck driver was not injured in the crash.

Florence County Coroner, Keith von Lutcken, identified the victim as 83-year-old Jimmy Halley Bacot.
