1 killed after shooting on Hwy 9 in Dillon County, officials say

DILLON COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A man has been killed in a shooting Saturday afternoon on Highway 9 in Dillon County, according to Dillon County Sheriff Douglas Pernell.

Pernell said they’re in the early stages of the investigation, but there’s no threat to the community.

The victim’s name isn’t being released at this time.
