North Myrtle Beach police investigating armed robbery at Circle K

North Myrtle Beach police are investigating an armed robbery at the Circle K gas station on Highway 17, according to a police report.

Police were called to the store on Aug. 13.

The store manager told police he was in the back of the store stocking shelves when two men wearing black masks, black hooded zip-up sweat shirts, black pants and white gloves came into the store with guns, according to a police report.

The men pointed their guns at the store manager and told him to give them the money, according to a police report.

The police report states the two suspects demanded the manager to empty the register and the safe. The manager gave them the money from the register, but there was a 10-minute delay for the safe.

While waiting for the safe to open, the police report states a customer came into the store and one of the suspects pointed a gun at the customer and demanded money. The customer told police he gave the man $7.

Police say, when the safe opened, the suspects took the money and went outside where they ran into three other customers.

The men then ran from the store.
