No experience needed: Exercise and enjoy nature through stand up paddle board yoga

A local business is offering a way to exercise while enjoying nature - stand up paddle board yoga.

You move through a series of yoga poses while balancing on a large paddle board.

No prior experience is necessary. Instructor Joshua Liddell said many participants have never tried yoga or been on a paddle board before.

"When people do leave they feel better. They feel more calm, a little more collected and a little more confident because they're doing something that they've never done before," said Liddell. "I really enjoy teaching that and giving that experience to other people."

Stand up paddle board lessons are offered through Jack's Surf Lessons and Board Rentals company.
