LORIS, S.C. (WPDE) — The victim of a deadly shooting in Loris over the weekend has been identified.

Jerome Bellamy, 41, of Nichols died in the shooting, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden.

Loris Police officers responded to shots fired in the 4000 block of Maple Street Saturday night.

Officers also said there were three other victims at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing and police ask people to contact the Loris Police Department if they have seen or heard anything.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is processing the crime scene.
