Murrells Inlet couple searching for owner of charm bracelet found in Garden City

Garden City, S.C. (WPDE) — A Murrells Inlet couple are searching for the owner of a charm bracelet after they found it while metal detecting in Garden City, according to a Facebook post.

Dawn Nelson, who found it, reached out to the "Facebook Universe" to do its magic and find the owner.

"Someone is probably sick about losing this, as the charms appear to be very meaningful," she said in the post.

She is asking everyone who sees the post to share it.

It has been shared more than 18,000 times.

"There is an inscription on one of the charms that they will need to identify to prove ownership," she said in the post.

A few people, she added, have contacted her thinking they know who it belongs to, but none have identified the personal charm.
