It’s been more than a week since a car wreck in Florence took the lives of motorcyclist Cedric Gregg and paramedic Sara Weaver.

Saturday, a motorcycle club honored Gregg and Weaver by riding from the Bass Pro Shops in North Myrtle Beach to Black Jack Harley Davidson in Florence.

Over two dozen bikers gathered for this ride. Many of them didn’t know Sara or Cedric personally, but they were so impacted by their stories, that they wanted to keep their legacy alive in the best way they knew- to ride.

Members of the motorcycle club, Keepers of the Fallen, strapped on their helmets and revved up their engines in honor of Gregg and Weaver.

Jonathan Faulkes, a member of the Keepers of the Fallen, said that even though he didn’t know them.

It’s important to be there for the community in times of need.

"When you lose somebody when the community comes together and helps each other, it makes things a little easier on everybody and we just want to help," Faulkes said.

Many of these bikers come from different walks of life but what brings them together is their love of the ride.

"A lot of the members of the keepers of the fallen I did not know before I joined and now I consider them my family," said Travis Wright, a member of the Keepers of the Fallen.

And this family has done a lot for other families, especially ones of first responders, motorcyclists, and veterans.

"Once you accomplish something and you raise money for somebody and you present them with the check, it’s a really good feeling. It makes you feel good inside and you’re doing something good for somebody," Faulkes said.

People paid $20 to participate and all the money raised will be split and donated to Weaver's and Gregg’s families.
