Timmonsville, S.C. (WPDE) — Michael Barclay, 32, has been extradited back to Florence County from New York to face murder charges in the death of 12-year-old Fantasia Jackson back in August in Timmonsville.
Florence County Detention Center online booking reports show Barclay was booked into the jail this past Saturday morning.
Deputies believe Barclay shot Jackson as she was running for cover, according to police.
Two other men are charged in connection with the murder.
Police said they are believed to have been involved in the Aug. 25 shooting on East Byrd Street in Timmonsvile which killed Jackson.
Barclay remains in jail awaiting a bond hearing.
