Man arrested following shooting in Marlboro County store parking lot
Marlboro County, S.C. (WPDE) —
Roderick Shaquille Bridges is charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime following a shooting Tuesday night at the Stop n Shop on Main Street in the McColl area of Marlboro County, according to McColl Police Chief Billy Stubbs.
Police said Bridges and the victim got into a fight at the store and that led to the shooting.
We're told the fight and the shooting were captured on cell phone video.
It is not clear if police are using the video to help in their investigation.
The victim remains in the hospital.
His condition isn't being released at this time.
Stubbs said the investigation is ongoing.
Bridges is being held at the Marlboro County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
