'Loud boom' reported in Carolina Forest Tuesday

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — You may have heard a loud boom Tuesday if you live in Carolina Forest. Several viewers reached out to ABC 15 wondering what it was.

Horry County police said their bomb squad disposed some unexploded ordinance Tuesday early evening. It was found near Planters Drive, according to officials.
