
FLORENCE, S.C. (WPDE) — Multiple events throughout the Grand Strand and Pee Dee are being canceled this week as Debby moves up the coast, threatening high levels of rainfall and flooding.
The Florence County Sheriff’s Office celebration of National Night Out, which was scheduled for Tuesday at the Leatherman Senior Center, was canceled on Monday morning.

The City of North Myrtle Beach also canceled their National Night Out celebration, scheduled for Tuesday. However, the city plans to reschedule the event for a later date in October.
City officials said they will provide an update once the new date is confirmed.
The Darlington Police Department has been rescheduled to August 13 at the recreational department located at 300 Sanders Street. The event will set up at 4:30 p.m. and begin at 6 p.m.
The Town of Timmonsville postponed their National Night, which was supposed to take place on Monday. It was rescheduled for next Tuesday.
