HCPD: Woman forced into car at gunpoint at Little River Food Lion

Police are searching for three people they say kidnapped a woman at gunpoint, forcing her to drive around and retrieve money.

According to the Horry County police incident report, the case began around 2 p.m. last Thursday when a woman reported she was approached by a red-headed female who pulled a gun and demanded she retrieve money from inside the Food Lion in the 1600 block of U.S. 17.

The suspect then forced the victim into her vehicle, making stops throughout the night to get more money. Two other suspects, one man and one blonde woman, participated, the report says.

"Once the suspects reached their destination, the victim was released." The victim reported she was let go around 6 the next morning. She then drove home and called police.
