SOCASTEE, S.C. (WPDE) — A teenager has been arrested after a shot was fired into a car Tuesday evening, according to HCPD.
Officers with the Horry County Police Department were investigating the shooting in Socastee Tuesday evening, according to Lt. Tom Delpercio.
Officers were called to the scene on Luttie Road and Oak Circle Drive around 6 p.m. for a call that someone had fired into a vehicle. Once on scene, they observed video surveillance that showed the suspect's vehicle driving past the residence, making a u-turn and driving past the home again, according to a police report.
Officers say there were bullet holes in one of the victim's vehicles and shell casings on the roadway in front of the residence.
The report shows the victims were two other 17-year-olds and one 15-year-old.
While speaking with the victims, officers received a call that the suspect's vehicle had been located.
Cain Andrew Francis, 17, of Garden City was arrested and charged with attempted murder, sale or delivery of pistol to, and possession by, certain persons unlawful and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to HCPD.
Francis is still incarcerated at J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
Police say it's still not clear what led up to the shooting.
