Four arrested after woman says she was sexually assaulted in Florence County apartment

The Florence County Sheriff's Office has arrested four suspects in connection to an alleged sexual assault, according to a press release.

Investigators say the incident occurred on or around March 28, 2018, when the victim claimed she was sexually assaulted several times while "mentally incapacitated due to alcohol intoxication."

According to the release, the incident is said to have happened at 4711 Patriot Lane Apartments in Florence County.

Quinton James Folk, 22, of Hampton, Malik Laquan Chestnut, 23, of Camden, Jaylen Deondre Still, 23, of Florence and Marshevis Devaughnu Ellington, Jr., 21, of Columbia have all been charged in this case with criminal sexual misconduct, third degree.

Still has been released from the Florence County Detention Center on a $10,000 surety bond and both Folk and Chestnut were released on a $5,000 surety bond. A bond hearing for Ellington will be held later Monday.

According to investigators, additional arrests are possible as the investigation continues.
