Former Florence city councilman William 'Bill' Bradham has died
Florence, S.C. (WPDE) —
Former Florence City Councilman William "Bill" C. Bradham, Jr., 89, passed away last week, according to an obituary from Cain Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home in Florence.
His obituary said he served in the United States Army and "was sent to Korea, where he served until his discharge."
Shortly before his retirement in 1997, Bill was elected to serve on the Florence City Council, "where he put his heart and soul into trying to make Florence the very best city anywhere. In addition to his responsibilities as a Councilman, Bill was very involved in civic and charity work, for which he received many plaques and letters of thanks and appreciation."
A celebration of Bradham's life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14 in the chapel of Cain Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. A private burial will take place in the Florence Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
