A Florence woman who won $1 million playing the South Carolina Education Lottery says she's packing her new good luck for a trip to Vegas, according to a news release from the South Carolina Education Lottery.

Last week, the woman cashed in a winning Extreme Millions scratch-off that she purchased from the Abhi Enterprises on Pamplico Highway in Florence, the release stated.

“I still don’t believe it,” she told lottery officials. “Am I really a millionaire?” she asked, according to the release.

She told officials she’ll return from her Las Vegas trip to a home that’s paid for now, and then it’s back to normal.

“I’m going to keep working,” she said, according to the release.

To win the $1 million prize, she overcame odds of 1 in 1.6 million to win the second top prize in the $10 Extreme Millions game. One top prize of $1 million remains in the game, according to lottery officials.

For selling the claimed ticket, Abhi Enterprises received a commission of $10,000.
