Florence man found not guilty in 2017 murder

A jury found Tyquan Jamar Johnson, 33, not guilty following his three day trial this week on charges of murder, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime in the death of Christopher Scott, 41, according to Twelfth Circuit Solicitor Ed Clements.

Scott was found shot to death last May on West Marion Street in Florence.
