Florence car crash leaves some without power

    Some in Florence were left without power Thursday after a car struck a utility pole.

    Police rerouted traffic around the scene of a car crash Thursday morning on North Beltline Drive near Sam’s and Aldi in Florence, according to Lt. Mike Brandt with Florence police.

    Brandt said a car ran off the road and hit a utility pole, leaving it significantly damaged.

    Several businesses lost power, but power has been restored.

    No injuries were reported.

    Crews are working to replace the pole.
