Florence 2 Schools dismissing early due to damaged sewer line
FLORENCE, S.C. (WPDE) —
The superintendent of Florence 2 Schools says classes are dismissing early Friday due to a damaged sewer line.
Dr. Neal Vincent says a main sewer line servicing the Hannah Pamplico Schools is damaged.
Because of the break, Florence 2 Schools are dismissing at 11:30 a.m. Friday.
All district events, after-school programs and athletics, are canceled Friday.
Future announcements, Dr. Vincent says, will be made using the district's automated calling system, website, social media and local media outlets.
