Fire reported on military plane lands at Myrtle Beach airport

Fire on a military plane at Myrtle Beach International Airport (WPDE)

A military aircraft landed without incident at Myrtle Beach International Airport after a fire was reported on board.

Kirk Lovell, spokesperson for the airports, said the airport was on an Alert 2, which means an aircraft is having major difficulties, and crews were responding.

Lovell said the fire was reported in the cockpit, but he didn't know the extent of the fire.

Lovell said that no one was hurt.
