Florence, S.C. (WPDE) — Deputies were called to a home off South Cashua Drive in Florence where a man had barricaded himself inside, according to police.

A short time later the situation was peacefully resolved.

There were at least 20 officers surrounding the home for a time.

Police have not released any more information on the situation.
