Horry County Police are conducting a homicide investigation at a home in the 4600 block of Adrian Highway in Horry County, according to a press release from Capt. John Harrelson.

Terry Blye, 58, of Conway, was found shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler.

A police report states officers were called to the home initially for a burglary complaint.

While en route, the caller told police that the victim was in a camper behind the home and was found unresponsive.

Fowler said autopsy was ordered and will be conducted late this afternoon.

Harrleson said the preliminary investigation does not indicate connections to any other recent incidents, however police will continue to evaluate potential connectivity as their investigations proceed.

Officers closed down a section of Adrian Highway in that area while they investigated.

Police are asking for anyone with information to reach out by emailing to or calling 843-915-TIPS.
