FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A fire at a wine-making facility in the Cartersville community on Lamar Highway in Florence County is now contained and under control, according to officials with the Sardis-Timmonsville Fire Department.
Fire Chief Jeff Dennis said heavy fire or flames covered the building when they arrived on scene.
A viewer shared pictures with ABC15 of the fire.

They show a massive fire at the facility.
Officials said 35 firefighters and used eight tankers and four command trucks to fight the fire.
Sardis-Timmonsville Fire Department was assisted by West Florence, Darlington County, Olanta and Timmonsville Fire and Rescue Departments.
No word on what sparked the fire.
