Six buildings are burning Tuesday night on Main Street in downtown Chesterfield, according to Chesterfield police chief Eric Hewett.

As of 10 p.m., the Chesterfield Police Chief said seven fire departments have responded to the scene.

Officials said six buildings have been affected by the fire, and they are trying to keep the flames from spreading to other area businesses.
