Billboard has declared the Carolina Country Music Fest the fourth best country music festival.

According to a post on the Billboard website, there are ten particularly noteworthy country music festivals in April and May each year.

Billboard's top three include the CMA Music Festival in Nashville, Tenn., Jamboree In the Hills in Morristown, Ohio, and Stagecoach in Indio, Calif.

Coming in at number four, Billboard says the following about CCMF:

Situated with the picturesque Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop, the city of Myrtle Beach becomes country music central for a few days each June. Just a few months ago, close to 40,000 people turned out to hear music from acts such as Granger Smith, and hometown favorite Darius Rucker. This great country music festival also features a stage devoted to rising talent, such as Luke Combs and Morgan Myles.

On Twitter, CCMF officials thanked CCMF fans and attendees for their support.

The 2018 Carolina Country Music Fest will run from June 7 to 10 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

CCMF officials said this past year's event was the most successful event to date.

Luke Bryan, Toby Keith, Zac Brown Band, Brett Eldredge, Old Dominion, Cole Swindell, and Chris Lane have already been announced as headliners for the 2018 event.
